JSC Baltiysky Zavod The Baltic Plant has been one of the leading shipbuilding enterprises in Russia since 1856. The plant specializes in the construction of 1st rank surface ships, ice-class vessels with nuclear and diesel-electric propulsion systems, and nuclear floating power units. LLC Burlak All-Terrain Vehicles LLC “Burlak All-Terrain Vehicles” has been producing unique wheeled amphibious all-terrain vehicles and trailers on low-pressure tires since 2017. The equipment is designed to work in remote areas with complete absence of roads and in difficult climatic conditions. In 2016, the vehicles were successfully tested in the Subpolar Urals and the Kara Sea. In 2017, the design and performance characteristics of the rover were improved. On orders from the Arctic regions, a cargo-passenger modification was developed. In 2018, small-scale production of all-terrain vehicles began in Ekaterinburg. In 2020, the Burlak became the first wheeled rover to operate in Antarctica. In 2021, as demand grew, serial production of Burlak rovers began in Kurgan. “Burlak” became in demand not only as a vehicle for transportation of people and cargo, but also as an industrial vehicle for work in the harshest conditions. At the moment there are 13 modifications of the model range with 6x6 wheel arrangement. At the customer's request, additional options can be installed for each machine. The trucks have been tested in the structural units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and Border Troops of Russia. One of the main clients of the enterprise are Gazprom and Rosneft companies, where Burlak has successfully passed tests. Work is underway to expand the production facilities with a total area of up to 10 thousand square meters. Assembly capabilities at the new facility will increase the number of vehicles produced from 10 to 20 units per month. |

JSC Nevskoye PKB Nevskoye PKB is the oldest surface shipbuilding design bureau in the Russian Federation. Organized in 1931, the design and engineering bureau is the lead designer of heavy aircraft-carrying cruisers, large landing ships and ground-based test training complexes for ship aviation.
