MMC «Norilsk Nickel»

«Nornickel» is the world’s largest producer of nickel and palladium, and one of the world’s leading producers of platinum and copper. The Company produces cobalt, rhodium, silver, gold, iridium, ruthenium, selenium, tellurium and sulfur.

The main Russian production units of «Nornickel» are vertically integrated and include: the Polar Division of MMC Norilsk Nickel and Kola Mining and Metallurgical Company.

Norilsk Nickel Harjavalta belonging to the Group is the only nickel refining plant in Finland.

«Nornickel» also includes Gipronickel Institute, a research and development facility located in Saint Petersburg (Russia), with branches in the cities of Norilsk and Monchegorsk.

Norilsk Nickel has its own global network of representative and sales offices in Russia, the UK, China, USA and Switzerland.

NOVATEK

NOVATEK is Russia’s largest independent natural gas producer. Founded in 1994, the Company is engaged in exploration, production, processing and marketing of natural gas and liquid hydrocarbons.

Yamal LNG, the Company's largest LNG project, is located on the Yamal Peninsula. It is an integrated project for production, liquefaction and export of natural gas.

For its future LNG projects, the Company built an Offshore Superfacility Construction Center in Murmansk Region, which has a vital role to play for the LNG equipment manufacturing industry emerging in Russia. The Center is currently busy with fabricating the first two GBS LNG Trains for the Arctic LNG 2 project. The Arctic LNG 2 project's three trains are expected to commence operation in 2023, 2024 and 2026, respectively.

Non-profit organisation Polar Foundation

Non-profit organisation Polar Foundation was established in 2000 by a group of scientists, polar researchers and the Association of Polar Explorers, an Interregional Public Organisation. The main purpose of the Foundation is joining and coordinating resources for solving scientific problems of exploration and development of polar, circumpolar and northern regions. Arthur Chilingarov, an outstanding polar explorer, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for International Cooperation in the Arctic and Antarctic, Hero of the Soviet Union and Hero of Russia, acts as the President of the Foundation from the very beginning.

TASS is Russia’s leading state news agency, and on September 1, 2023, the agency celebrated its 119th anniversary.

TASS is one of the most cited Russian news agencies, publishing nearly 3,000 news items in six languages and about 700 photographs and videos from correspondents in Russia and across the world daily, forming a complete and objective picture of events. In 2022, more than 2.9 mln items of content in various formats were released across all TASS platforms, and more than 1.5 mln items were published in January-July 2023.
